# 6 Room 428
Room 428 in Ohio University’s Wilson Hall has been sealed off forever. The room is allegedly the one that belonged to a room who committed suicide sometime in the 1970s. There are countless eyewitness accounts of paranormal presences being felt in the room - so many that administration actually decided to close the room off forever to prevent any more occurrences. People who visit the room have witnessed explicit poltergeist activities - objects were literally violently flung across the room and doors opened and closed on their own accord. Shadowy figures will appear and reappear in the room and even the door is haunted. No matter how many times the door was replaced, a demonic face would appear in the wood grain. College is stressful enough without a malicious spirit tormenting you!
# 5 Sailing Stones of Death Valley
The rocks in Death Valley’s Racetrack Playa dry lake bed are known for moving around when no one is looking. The moving rocks are called the Sailing Stones and scientists have tried and failed to explain why the rocks move so suddenly across the lakebed. Once every two to three years park rangers will wake up and see that the rocks have moved hundreds of feet from their original spot, leaving distinct trails behind them.
# 4 Mothman sighting
This is a mockup of a creature that was seen by several people in Chile. In 2013, reports came in of a strange creature around the Bustamante Park in Santiago de Chile. The first reports came from a man walking in the park who described the creature as “2 meters tall shaped like a manta ray”. As with most paranormal sightings, the man’s report was met with skepticism and disbelief, but within the same day several other witnesses reported seeing the same manta ray-like creature flying over their neighborhoods. The descriptions of the creature bare a nerve-rattling resemblance to mothman - a legendary creature known for bringing misfortune to humanity. To make things even creepier, the area has a history of seeing strange winged creatures. Witness reports of mothman-like sightings go as far back as 1970.
# 3 Bournemouth Man has Blue Ball Shower
A resident of Bournemouth, England was mystified when he was tending his garden and blue orbs suddenly rained from the sky. The jelly-like orbs showered his garden and afterwards the sky turned dark-yellow. The man collected the orbs in a jar and inspected them, discovering that they had a slightly hard outer shell and gooey inside but weren’t sticky and didn’t melt. When he called in experts to investigate, meteorologists told him that it wasn’t a weather phenomena he was familiar with. The source of this strange orb hail is still yet to be discovered.
# 2 Bloop
In the late 90s, underwater sensors across the entire Pacific Ocean heard a low frequency and extremely powerful noise. The noise was loud enough to be heard 3,000 miles outward from its origin in the South Pacific. It is unclear what the sound came from but it has features similar to marine mammal noises like the cry of a whale. The only difference is the Bloop was much, much louder. Some have explained away the noise as the sound of an iceberg breaking underneath water, but many believe that it came from a creature twice as large as a blue whale. Humans have only explored about 5 percent of our Earth’s oceans, so the possibility of a huge undiscovered sea monster lurking around there is very possible.
# 1 Death of Elisa Lam
Elisa Lam was a Canadian tourist staying at the Hotel Cecil in downtown Los Angeles in January of 2013. She suddenly disappeared with no traces of where she might be. It wasn’t until more than two weeks later when guests at the hotel were complaining of strange water coming from their taps did they find her naked body floating in the water tower above the hotel. However, the water tower was locked, and to even get to the roof Elisa would have had to climb out of a window and through an alarmed rooftop door, so how did she get up there? There is footage of her acting extremely strangely in the hotel elevator before her disappearance, acting almost animalistic and childish. And seemingly talking to someone that isn’t visible. What makes it all even more creep is that the Hotel Cecil has a history of death surrounding it. It was the residence of two separate serial killers, and multiple people have killed themselves by jumping off the roof. What exactly caused the death of Elisa Lam is still unknown to this day.

# 9 Ship Crash lands
This picture might look like a nice picture of a boat and a small town until you realize that giant oil tanker is going to crush all those very tiny people. In 2007, a nasty storm hit the coast of England, causing most ships to evacuate the area. One ship, the Pasha Bulker, did not evacuate. The storm pushed the boat towards the coast, where it had to take emergency precautions to avoid hitting buildings and people. It was almost permanently beached all because the ship’s captain was “having breakfast at the time”.
# 8 Morning Glory Spillway
It looks like someone pulled the plug at the bottom of this lake like some kind of really big bathtub. Well, actually, that’s exactly what they did. The Monticello Dam at Lake Berryessa in California comes equipped with a huge drainage pipe. The pipe is called the Morning Glory Spillway, but locals affectionately call it The Glory Hole. It swallows water when the dam is full, at a rate of 48,800 cubic feet per second. Although it looks amazing, it is very unsafe to be near. In 1997, a swimmer got caught in the drainage and drowned.
# 7 Cruise Ship in Mountain
It looks like this cruise ship was caught up in some titanic sized wave and washed up perfectly on top of a mountain. Otherwise, someone chose a very bad spot to build their ship. It’s actually a cruise ship themed resort hotel in South Korea. It’s a cool idea and makes for a truly unusual photo op. It has all the amenities of a cruise minus the part where you’re trapped in the middle of the ocean with a thousand other strangers.

The Penrose Triangle is one of the most famous optical illusions. It’s a 2D drawing that tricks your mind into thinking an impossible shape is being formed. This sculpture in Perth, Australia takes that concept and brings it to the real world. The mind-warping sculpture confuses passersby into thinking they might have just stepped into an alternate dimension where logic has disappeared. Don’t worry though, as you can see in this second picture it is just a single bar using forced perspective to trick your mind.
# 5 Floating Boat
It looks like this boat is casually floating a few feet above water or about to belly flop into the ocean and make a huge wave splash. Actually this boat isn’t equipped with magic flying rotors and it isn’t photoshopped. There are some bodies of water in the world that haven’t been completely contaminated by pollution (yet) and these waters are particularly pristine. The water is so clear it looks like whatever is in it is actually floating in mid-air.
# 4 Plane Nose-Diving into Ocean
Hundreds of flights happen every day and it’s actually surprising we don’t hear about more accidents involving airplanes. In this picture it looks like a man is witnessing a nose dive into the ocean, which would be both amazing and terrifying. Unfortunately there is little evidence to show that this is a real, undoctored image.
# 3 Spider Forest
This looks like a scene out of a creepy fantasy forest where giant spiders live and spin giant webs for unsuspecting travelers to get caught in. These webs weren’t made by giant spiders, but by several hundred spiders. Is that better or worse? After a flood in the area, spiders took shelter in the tops of trees. After some presumably awkward small talk all of the spiders became friends and worked together to create these scary huge webs all over the tree.
# 2 B of the Bang
It looks like there was some sort of glitch in the matrix in this public plaza and everyone in this area is about to be sucked into the void. It’s no glitch, although this sculpture may have been a mistake. This extreme art installment is called B of the Bang and was supposed to be a shocking art piece to attract more tourists into the area. Although the several giant spikes are definitely shocking, they are also dangerous. Less than a week after its reveal the spikes started falling off of the sculpture and damaging everything around it. Although B of the Bang definitely looked amazing it was a huge safety hazard and has since been destructed.
# 1 The Crooked Forest
This forest looks like it was at the receiving end of an evil curse where all the trees look like they’re kind of dying. The crooked trees all have a 90 degree angle at the base of their tree and almost all of their bends face northwards. There have been a multitude of theories trying to explain this mysterious forest, but so far none have been strong enough to be true. What makes it even harder to figure out what’s going on is that the crooked forest is actually surrounded by a bunch of straight growing trees

9. Winged Creature in Indonesia
This bizarre glowing object came out of nowhere and was captured on camera. It falls down to the ground then disappears out of thin air. Some think it’s a ghost, others an angel. And many others believe it’s a hoax. Even before the video was published, many Indonesians began flocking to the sight, as if there were eye witnesses. Maybe science can’t explain each and every mystery.
8. The Battery Man
This man from Serbia claims he can withstand voltage that stuns scientists and onlookers alike. A 20,000 volt current is enough to kill anyone except this person for some reason and holds the Guinness World's Record. He claims he can act as insulator and can even cook hot dogs with electricity stored in his body. There’s quite a few videos online of his superhuman powers. His next goal is to charge a laser and be able to shoot it from his fingers! How could this even be possible? Someone explain this mystery.
7. Atacama Humanoid
There is no doubt among scientists that this creature discovered in the Atacama desert is 100% a real organism and not a hoax. What astounds them even more is that it contains only 91% human DNA and the rest of its genes are a complete mystery. Here in this video, you can see scientists conducting research. So what is it exactly? It does not look human to me. Are we looking at the remains on of actual alien creature? Could this finally be evidence as aliens as we know it. X-rays of the skull show it to be rather deformed and unlike anything that of a human. If it’s not an alien, what is it?

If I was a ghost, I think the first place I would go is Disneyland! Here in this video, we see unedited security footage of a ghost-like figure walking around late night at the happiest place on earth. Luckily he gets to skip all the lines because it's after closing time. No need for fast passes if you can get passed the lines undetected. There have been similar reportings of ghosts at disneyland, most specifically at the haunted mansion. Ok but seriously this camera footage makes you wonder if maybe that kid who was died on the Big Thunder mountain still haunts the theme park today.

This giant squid was caught on camera is real according to the Discovery Channel. It’s over 50 feet long and eyes are size of dinner plates. The Japanese camera crew went 3000 feet below the surface of the ocean to capture these remarkable images. You might want to think twice before taking a swim at the beach. Legends of squid even larger, have been reported to take down large fishing boats. We’ve seen images of the Kraken that are a little bit larger. How big can these creatures actually get?

This mysterious natural phenomenon is still quite the controversial topic and has many scientists scratching their heads. Lighting seems to last for less than a second whereas ball lightning can last up to 10 seconds. Could these actually be some type of ghost still lingering around the sky? They seem to come out of nowhere and move in abrupt patterns. This has been reproduced in a laboratory but lack of physical evidence have dismissed many eyewitness testimonies. Could this possibly be some type of UFO weapon technology?

King Henry the VIII once lived in this palace and the ghosts of his executed wifes are rumored to still roam the estate where they once lived. This figure was captured by CCTV and was on British television news once the video was released in October 2003. The mysterious object in the video was given the nickname skeletor. The doors that were being opened had no one behind them and were to an emergency exit that set off alarms. When security went to investigate, there was nothing there and the doors were closed. All they found were these images of a mysterious robed possible ghost.Judge for yourself.

He looks in complete shock and starts running as soon as other people notice him. The camera man begins to pursue him on foot. During the chase he’s about to run through a bus, but miraculously he runs into the bus but disappears. Many people have their own opinions on this but we’d like to hear what you think.
