Top 5 Most Bad Ass Soldiers. These soldiers were all bad ass and heroic. Their acts made them heroes. Snipers take up 2 of the spots, the other 3 soldiers are just as or even more heroic!
5. Craigh Harrison
Harrison was a British sniper assigned to Afghanistan. One day, he had a Taliban fighter in his sights at two miles away. After nine shots to gauge the distance, he got his bearings, placed the target precisely on the Taliban fighter, and made him "go away". Then Harrison noticed the friend of the guy he just wasted a little further back, and drilled him too. Two world record shots, the longest from 2707 yards...
4. Audie Murphy
During WW2, Murphy's unit was down to 19 men out of 128. They couldn't fight, they needed to rearm, and they needed somebody to hold the line. So Murphy stayed behind, shooting Germans until he ran out of ammo. Then, deciding he wasn't done killing Germans, he jumped onto a burning tank and started using its .50 caliber machine gun. Murphy escaped and later starred in a movie about himself!

Francisco was an American soldier in the American Revolutionary War. He pretty much killed eleven enemy soldiers with his bare hands and a broadsword. But was severely wounded and sent home. On his way home, he came across a British raiding party of eleven men. Even though Francisco was severely wounded, they didn't stand a chance: Francisco killed one, wounded eight, and just to rub it in, stole all their horses and delivered them to the American army.

York and his unit were trapped by German machine guns during WW1, so he began sniping the Germans out of their nest with his standard-issue rifle while politely asking them to surrender. Instead they sent eight men with fixed bayonets to kill him, so he drew his pistol and drilled all eight. Eventually the German Commander, after running out ammo, decided to surrender. So York, and the seven guys he had left, captured the remaining 132 Germans...

He loved to use grenades and during one of the battles he was involved in, he used them to blow up 3 machine gun nests single handedly. He escaped from POW camps a number of times, including once when he jumped out the back of a moving truck, broke his ankle, and still kept running...
